Limited Lifetime Warranty for Diamon-Fusion® Patented Nano-Coating on Shower Doors

Diamon-Fusion® treated shower doors are guaranteed to remain more water repellent than untreated glass for the lifetime of the glass as long as basic manufacturer maintenance recommendations are followed and no harsh or abrasive cleaners are used.

DFI’s patented nano-coating chemically bonds to the glass and creates a patented, protective nano film that when properly applied by an authorized applicator, is guaranteed not to haze, chip, crack, peel, or discolor for the lifetime of the glass.

No Revitalizer is required, however DFI’s maintenance products will assure a clear and easy-to-clean surface for many years to come and are one way to satisfy the basic manufacturer maintenance requirements specified in this warranty. Ask your reseller about the DFI Consumer Maintenance Kit, a complete system for following basic manufacturer recommended maintenance. In the event of a covered product failure, DFI’s liability is limited to the cost of replacing DFI chemical materials for retreatment, and will in no way extend to indirect, incidental or consequential damages incurred in relationship to this product.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. NOTE, SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MIGHT NOT APPLY TO YOU AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

COMPANY SHALL BE THE SOLE JUDGE AS TO WHETHER BASIC MANUFACTURER MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS HAVE BEEN FOLLOWED, AND IF IN COMPANY’S JUDGMENT THE PRODUCT FAILURE HAS ARISEN FROM IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW COMPANY’S RECOMMENDATIONS, THEN COMPANY SHALL BE RELEASED FROM ANY OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

DIAMON-FUSION® FOR SHOWER DOORS BASIC MANUFACTURER MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS

After each use: For best results, rinse or spray the surface with clean water and towel dry the few remaining drops. Or just thoroughly towel dry the door. You may also use a squeegee.

Once a month: Wet the surface and use a nylon body puff or soft cloth and go over the wet surface, rubbing in a circular motion. You should feel places that are “sticky” going back to slick again. Then rinse or spray the surface with cool, clean water just as you do after each use. Wipe it dry or let the water drain off, and pat dry the few remaining droplets.

If You Have Not Followed the Basic Manufacturer Maintenance Recommendations:

A DFI Consumer Maintenance Kit or DFI Express Care Kit can be used to restore your surface. These kits are available from DFI resellers worldwide. For your convenience, DFI has created a Consumer Maintenance Kit that includes everything listed below:

• DFI Revitalizer - This is used to bring back your DFI treated surfaces to “just applied” condition. It can also be used as a basic protective treatment for anodized aluminum frames and hardware, and vinyl and plastic.
• DFI Restoration Powder - This powder, combined with water and a LIGHT TOUCH, can be used if necessary when basic maintenance has not been done.
• Nylon Body Puff - To wipe down the treated surface on a regular basis.
• White Scrubber Pad - For use if needed.
• Microfiber Towel - Used for polishing the glass after applying the Revitalizer.

Use of the white scrubber pad: if stains persist, use it with the Restoration Powder and a LIGHT TOUCH. Warning: Using too much pressure with the Restoration Powder can damage the DFI coating. Once the surface is clean and dry, apply the Revitalizer and polish with the microfiber towel.

The DFI Consumer Maintenance Kit contains everything above including 16 ounces of Revitalizer; the DFI Express Care Kit simply has smaller quantities of Revitalizer and Restoration Powder.
